Melanie & Tim's Engagement photos in Santa Cruz

I met up with Melanie & Tim in Santa Cruz this morning. I thought it was going to be extremely hot this morning but when I got there it was foggy... & high 70*. Before each engagement photo session, I take lots of time to prepare my couple on what my vision is for the shoot. I layout my thoughts, talk about what I will do and give them directions on how to "work" the camera. Melanie & Tim didn't have to act natural, they were natural from the beginning. What really helps is that they have great chemistry. You can see that from the moment they held onto each other. Their kisses were passionate and their holds were tight. Their "look" for each other is genuine and sweet.
